Continuing the tradition, the 7th Olympiad of Medical Knowledge will take place at the 9th Scientific Congress of Greek Medical Students, on Saturday, May 10, 2003. The contestants, who must all be pregraduate students, will compete in groups of 1 to 4 people. If there are too many participants, those who declared their participation earlier will have priority. The contest will consist of multiple choice questions selected from those submitted by members of the special Scientific Committee. The questions will cover a broad spectrum of medical knowledge, both on the clinical and preclinical level. It is therefore suggested that participating groups include students in the first years of medical studies. Every question will be projected for a fixed amount of time during which the team should choose the correct answer. The team with the most correct answers will be the winner. In the case of a tie (very unlikely), the prize will be split evenly. Participation: Those who wish to participate should let us know by 30/4/2003, via e-mail, at the address 9esfie@9esfie.gr. The message subject should be "7th Olympiad of Medical Knowledge", and in the body of the text you should clearly declare for every participant the name, the University he/she studies in, the year of studies, the registration number for the University (Student ID card number) and the registration number for the Congress (receipt number). Prizes: The three first teams that mark best will receive special awards and certificatesat the closing ceremony of the congress. All participants in the Olympiad will receive a special participation certificate. |
